The 20th edition of the Flower Trials, an event bringing together all the players of the plant industry, has come to an end. It represents an unmissable event to discover all the trends of the horticultural market. Again this year, over 5,000 visitors from 80 countries walked along the aisles of the different Flower Trials sites.
THE ORNAMENTAL INDUSTRY STILL HAS A BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD
During the 20th edition, around 60 companies from the plant industry gathered to welcome visitors from all over the world, proving the resilience of the horticultural sector despite the difficulties it faces. In fact, despite the economic and socio-political challenges, during the Flower Trials the industry showcased beautiful flowers adapted to every garden challenge: nature, ecosystem, drought...
This year’s FleuroStar Award, organized by Fleuroselect, was conferred on Dalina Maxi Starburst Pink by Florensis.
THE CLAUSE HOME GARDEN FLOWER RANGE
Double Cosmos for a natural garden
The Double Click cosmos flowers over a long period and attracts birds and butterflies. This medium-height cosmos variety will undoubtedly embellish every flower bed and edging.
Mini Lupin Gallery® and Presto, the dwarf perennials for every garden
Mini-Gallery® Pure Blue, Fleuroselect Gold Medal winner and showcased at HM.CLAUSE’s stand, once again impressed visitors during the 2024 Flower Trials. This plant with striking blue flowers is more compact than Gallery®, which is an asset in terms of size, as it can be planted in every garden spot, including balconies!
Similarly, Presto® is perfect for golden yellow lovers: this naturally dwarf and compact plant is suitable for flower beds, as well as planters and pots. Its abundant double flowers and short production cycle are highly appreciated features. A few years ago, this variety was awarded a Fleuroselect Gold Medal as well.
Sunflowers for a bright garden! Clause proposes a wide sunflower range: Gummy Bear, a lemon-yellow double sunflower to brighten up flower beds, Firefox, WAOOH!, as well as the whole color range of SUNTASTIC® F1, a very productive variety featuring naturally compact plants.

THE EARLY PACK, AN ALLY FOR GROWERS AND GARDENING CENTERS
CLAUSE HOME GARDEN offers an “early pack” of 6 varieties that make it possible to face the challenges of the garden while meeting the expectations of distributors. In fact, the pack is designed to promote early varieties that will enable a quick harvest, as consumers are ever more impatient to enjoy the fruits of their efforts. Moreover, this also limits watering requirements during the peak of the season, while avoiding some diseases that are more common towards the end of the season. Therefore, the pack includes:
A long, vigorous, early eggplant with few seeds.
KAZIMIRA mini sweet pepper that quickly turns color.
BALCONIA productive melon, early and adapted to several areas. A long, vigorous, early eggplant with few seeds.
EDGARA very early cluster tomato with a good resistance to several pathogens and a good performance even in cold conditions!
PREMIOA fleshy heirloom tomato variety, very early and absolutely delicious.
GOURMANDIAA productive cherry tomato variety, featuring high-quality plants and a good resistance to diseases. Its sweet and delicious fruits do not burst when ripe.
CROKINIHONEY MOON & GOURMANSUN, THE GARDEN BEST SELLERS
Within a European market used to traditional cluster tomatoes, especially in Germany and the Netherlands, during the Flower Trials CLAUSE HOME GARDEN made visitors experience a selection of its specialty tomato range. HONEY MOON and GOURMANSUN were particularly appreciated during tastings. GOURMANSUN is a pineapple heart tomato with flaming undertones when fully ripe, while HONEY MOON, with its productive and vigorous plant, offers sweet, tasty and fleshy fruits. Both of them are mildew resistant (IR).
BLIGHT, THE DISEASE TO KEEP AHEAD OF
With rather inconvenient weather this spring over much of Europe, blight is one of the garden diseases dreaded by both amateur gardeners and professionals of the horticultural industry. In fact, phytophthoras can heavily affect productions.
